For those unfamiliar, trick or treating can sometimes be a bit of a gamble. The unwritten rule of thumb is simple: if the house is decorated, you’re welcome to knock; if it’s not, best to steer clear! While certain parts of Andover fully embrace the Halloween spirit, others can be hit or miss when it comes to joining in the fun.
This year, however, Andover is offering a guaranteed spooktacular experience for the whole family. Forget standing at doorways where no one’s home, or waiting awkwardly while someone pretends they aren’t in. At this family-friendly event, you’re promised a thrilling haul of treats from a wide array of stalls and shops that are all taking part in the fun!
Organised by Andover Community Events, Andover BID, Andover Radio & Love Andover, and Illusion Events, the event will take place on Thursday 31st October from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The town centre will be transformed into a Halloween haven where you and your little ones can make your way around the participating stores and night market, filling your buckets with goodies without the uncertainty of traditional trick or treating.
As this marks the third year of Andover’s Trick or Treat Night, it’s already shaping up to be a brilliant evening. Not only will the event be a safe and enjoyable way for children to collect treats from local businesses, but Andover Radio will also be hosting a spooky disco afterward, adding to the atmosphere!
