A plea for volunters to help at Andover carnival

Andover Carnival is once again looking to be one of the biggest, colourful and most musical to date.

After the support of local businesses the carnival was saved earlier in the year and since has grown with approximately 28 local companies and charities planning on taking part in this year’s procession. The response has been amazing but now the Carnival Committee once again turns to the local community to ask for volunteers for the day. The success of the carnival is partly based on the support we have received on the day, not just from those that come and enjoy the day but also from those that give up their time to help the event be such a success.

Whether you can spare 1 hour, 4 hours or 12 hours the Carnival needs you. There is a meeting taking place for volunteers at the White Hart in town on Wednesday 4th July, 7pm and if you are interesting in helping out please contact Procession Liaison Officer Kevin Rush at carnivalkev@hotmail.com
