An Easter Garden in Andover

The Church wardens at St Pauls church on Smannell Road in Andover, have been busy creating an Easter Garden for us all to visit.

They say, “Finally we can be a bit bolder in venturing out. We have added an Easter walk to our Hope Space at St.Paul’s Church in Smannell Rd so that we can reflect on the journey Jesus took before his death for us on the cross and leading to his rising from the dead on Easter Sunday. It is open for everyone to come and spend a while walking, looking, reflecting and praying. During this lovely weather why not come along some time this week to the St.Paul’s Church Grounds and our garden spaces. There is plenty of room to stay apart from others and have a time of quiet reflection and there is also a pile of pebbles for you to take one and decorate as your symbol of hope.

They invite everyone to come and spend a few quiet minutes walking round and stopping at each space during this Holy Week, reflecting and praying in ‘Gethsemane’ – at ‘the Cross’ – at ‘the Tomb’.

They will be holding their Easter Service on Easter Sunday, 10am, 4th April

Everyone is invited to join them for a service in the grounds of St Paul’s, with Communion. This will be the first time local church goers have met for a while and so promises to be a very special occasion, even though everyone will still be within households/ bubbles. You do need to email them at admin@knightsenham.org.uk or call them on 07719 994 538 to let them know your going, as spaces are limited.
