Free family event at Andover Leisure Centre

Les Mills Andover Leisure Centre

This weekend, there is a free family event and the town’s new leisure facility.

Mark your calendars for Sunday 5 January 2020 and get the whole family ready for a free morning of active fun.

Andover Leisure Centre will be hosting its quarterly Les Mills launch.

The Les Mills way of training began in 1968 when Les Mills set up a small family gym in Auckland, New Zealand. Three generations on, there are now millions who work out with Les Mills every day, all over the world.

The day will offer a way to bring in the New Year with a crazy energetic morning filled with a mash-up of the classic Les Mills group exercise classes, active play and bounce for the little ones. The Centre is also offering “free prizes galore”. With over 350 places available, a Leisure Centre spokesperson said, “The best news is, it’s completely free”.

The main hall will be divided into two sections, the left-hand side hosting a 45 minute taster of each new group exercise class with a neon glow stick theme;

  • 8am Body Step
  • 9am Body Pump
  • 10am Body Attack
  • 11am Body Combat
  • 12pm Body Balance

The other half of the hall will be filled with free drop-off kids activities, including the popular Active Play and Bounce session and fun games with their mascot Pooch.
