The tremendous tribute band to T-Rex plays The Lights this month!
After the band’s lead singer, Danielz required surgery in late 2022, The Lights are so pleased to see that he is back touring, with his fantastic band. The theatre will welcome the fantastic Marc Bolan tribute back to the theatre for a rocking night on this rescheduled date (Friday, 24 February).
The auditorium in the heart of Andover will be treated to T-Rex hits such as “Get It On” “Bang a Gong” “Hot Love”, and more! Fans travel up and down the country to catch T-Rextasy, and the band was recently namechecked on Ken Bruce’s Tracks of my Years by Chris Packham, when choosing “20th Century Boy” as one of his favourite songs and spoke very highly of one of the UK’s top tributes!
Poignantly, the band has been touring for longer than T-Rex were even a band! An astonishing statistic, but a testament to the sheer brilliance of T-Rextasy and their passion for Marc Bolan’s band. With over 20 years of providing top tunes to audiences in the UK, each show is not just a carbon copy of T-Rex’s albums, but how their live shows would have felt! Flares, glitz, glam, and more flares, the 1970s represented in the right way.
Rock-a-boogie at its best at The Lights theatre, where the 249-seater auditorium will be full of those who love to boogie on a Friday night! The Lights have over 250 professional shows a year, with some of the UK’s top tribute acts and bands on their two stages. T-Rextasy are no exception. The show will be held on Friday, 24 February at 7:30 pm.
