Hawk conservancy Art Competition

Bird in Flight - Haiku picture

The Hawk conservancy are holding a children’s art competition where you can win a one year family membership to the Trust.

There’ll also be three runner-up prizes of a family ticket to visit when they are open again.

They are asking our children to  create a piece of artwork based on their favourite bird of prey.

What is it about that creature that you like so much and how can you highlight this in your work? Think carefully about the medium you want to use. Perhaps you’d like to keep it simple with a drawing, or maybe watercolours or acrylics suit your work better. Maybe you could make something 3D or mixed media, perhaps using sewing, felting or even collage to create your desired finish. Budding photographers are welcome to enter too. The best entries will really communicate something to the viewer.

Entries must be submitted via their social media page, Hawk Conservancy Trust, in a comment on a post about the competition or via private message. Anyone wishing to enter who does not have a social media account can send their entry to competitions@hawkconservancy.org. Remember to include your name and age.

Entries to the competition must be received by 5pm on Sunday 21 June 2020. Judging will take place in the following week by their Graphic Designer, Paul Durrant of Studio Rationale.
