Local businessman hosts second charity event

Local businessman Chris Jackson is hosting a charity event to raise money for Andover Mind and Andover and District Mencap.

The owner of private hire company Let Me Drive You has arranged the second of these annual events for tomorrow (Thursday 27th July) at the White Hart Hotel from 7.00pm.

Mr Jackson from Colvin Close said, “Last year I celebrated 5 years in business and with 160 people at the event we raised £700 for charity. It was also a great event for business networking”.

Test Valley borough councillor Iris Andersen has also been instrumental in putting on the event which features a charity auction, fun casino, close-up magic and live music from Vicki Parkinson.

The Mayor of Test Valley, Carl Borg-Neal is due to attend the event which will also feature displays and presentations from local businesses.

Entry to the event is free.
