Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Van Halen, AC/DC, Journey, Aerosmith, Def Leppard. Iconic 80s rock bands with style, vigor, and outright timeless tunes. They all have this in common.
This May at The Lights, Iron Tyger will be bringing ULTIMATE ROCK to the stage. With all of the songs, you’d expect from an 80s rock band, with a guitarist, bass player, and a rocking lead singer (who also plays the keytar!), this epic band will be bringing rock music to the arena for this standing event.
They look the part; they sound the part, and they will show the people of Andover the meaning of the hard-hitting tunes they play in an electric atmosphere. There’s no better place to see a live band play songs such as “Wanted Dead or Alive”, “Here I Go Again”, “Jump”, “Sweet Child O’ Mine” or “We’re Not Gonna Take It”. Ultimate Rock will be a 2-hour extravaganza.
Complete with big hair-raising locks, full makeup, and outfits to boot, people of Andover and further afield are encouraged to get involved and dig out their studded leather jackets, get their headbands on, and get rocking in the arena.
With a dedicated team working at the theatre to provide the very best nights of live music, comedy, tributes, speakers, and traditional theatre, there is so much on offer this upcoming season, and Ultimate Rock really is something different compared to everything else.
It’s not a show that has been within The Lights brochure before, and it’s going to be a new experience for both the audience and the artists. Rock music has its place in the programme, and in May, it’ll be the perfect time to let off some steam in the arena. With stadium anthems, power ballads, and timeless classics performed in the most fun and passionate way, this show is for rock and pop fans across the South!
