Love Andover and 95.9FM Andover Radio are proud to support this year’s Hampshire Santa Run at Thruxton Race Circuit next month.
The event is in its second year and already 100 ‘Santas’ have confirmed their participation.
This is a fun run in aid of the Enham Trust and there’s a story to be told. Organiser Martin Dawson told Andover Radio, “Some naughty elves have stolen all the Christmas presents from the North Pole and your job is to run and catch them to get the presents back”.
Tickets are on sale now and there are various categories, depending on your age, your running ability and whether or not you require a Santa suit. See here for ticket purchase options.
“Prices start at just £5.00”, says Mr Dawson. “We’re trying to encourage as many people as possible to join us from 11am on Sunday 1st December for this event and the whole idea is that it will be fun for everyone regardless of their age or ability”.
‘Heroic Santas’ will collect stickers from the naughty elves as they catch them out on the track. There’ll be various team competitions to see who can catch the most stickers.
95.9FM Andover Radio will be broadcasting live from this event and all participants will receive a medal and goody bag.
