Top 5 things to do this Half term in Andover

The next school holiday is October half-term which takes place on Monday 26th October – Friday 30th October.

Here are 5 things we think you shouldn’t miss out on doing this half term in Andover with your children.

1.Freaky Down Farm

At Finkley Down Farm , Andover

24th October – 1st November

Spooky Fun and Bubbles with Sabrina the Scarecrow and Mavis Flosswort the witch.

Including ; Monster Hunt, Halloween Fancy dress competition, Goat Racing, Little farmers driving school, Birds of Prey, Reptiles Encounters.

No spooky stables this year but instead they will be having a Spooky Halloween walk through.

2. Woodland Spooktacular

This is an event aimed at young children up to say 10 years old with a nod to trick or treat and a few mild spooks. It’s about a half mile in the dark illuminated woodland and about the same again once you get back to the start. Plenty for little people. Buy a ticket for all walking. No pushchairs.

3. Riverside Bowl in Andover

SPOOKTASTIC half-term week on Monday 26th October until Sunday 1st November 2020. The Glo-Golf will be mysteriously transformed for the week, and extra treats will be added to our drinks menu

4. Iron Age Museum by torchlight

October 31st , 5pm – 8pm

Halloween at the Iron Age Museum on the evening of Saturday 31 October.

Come dressed in your best scary costume and listen to the spooky local ghost stories as you explore the Iron Age Museum by torchlight!

Pre-book your tickets online for all visitors aged 3 and up, £3.00 each. Maximum six persons per booking. Times of bookings are 5pm, 6pm and 7.30pm. Ticket price includes free child’s goody bag.

Please ensure that all persons aged 12 and up wear a face mask to comply with current government regulations in regards to wearing face masks in museums.

5. Visit the Ice cream shop

A fangtastic spooky menu is on offer from Canto Gelato. Be sure to pre book so that you dont miss out.
