The Chantry centre beach
The Chantry beach has everything you’ll need to have fun this summer; sand, shopping, games, competitions and prizes.
Every Monday in August, from 11am – 4pm, the upper mall in the centre will become home to a Chantry Beach bonaza with lots of fun free activities for all of the family.

Summer Holiday Fun featuring Wild and Wacky Wednesdays
Come into the Museum of Army flying for some Wild and Wacky fun during the summer holidays During the week throughout the summer holidays, between 11am and 2pm we will be doing a selection of Art and Craft Activities. This year, however, we will be introducing Wild and Wacky Wednesdays, which will feature either a either a ‘wild’ – wildlife or a ‘wacky’ – science experiment theme on each Wednesday.
10.30-12.00. (Characters will visit from 10.45-11.45). During that hour Princesses will greet guests at each individual table with time for photos, autographs and time to get to know each guest. Following this will be story time, and live sing-along. Guests can enjoy a choice of drinks plus themed cakes and biscuits £12 per guest Beauty
Needs to be booked in advance Discover what an owl has been eating by investigating a real owl pellet and identifying what’s inside. Using the tiny bones you find as clues, work out if the owl has eaten a vole, a mouse or a shrew (or all 3)! Tickets £4.
Join us for an afternoon of fun activities including a bouncy castle, face painting, outdoor games and much more! Refreshments available but feel free to bring your own picnic! FREE entry and open to all 🙂

Our fourth and final Four Fun Friday event takes place on the 24 August. This week we bring you our usual array of fantatstic creative workshops, storytelling from Merry Go Round, Rhubarb Theatre with their Bookworms show and teams from the Andover Vision and the TVBC Recycling Stars.
