Its that time of year again that you either LOVE or HATE as a parent, its World book day.
A time where the wonderfullness of books are celebrated in schools and playschools and we are asked as parents to dress up our children as their favourite book characters.
This year world book day takes place on 1st March 2018. Check which day your childs school is dressing up on as some will be dressing up on the Friday and you don’t want to be that parent that sends your child in dressed on on the wrong day .
World book day dress up suggestions
If you haven’t the time or the skill to make a costume, Asda Andover is located southwest corner of the Town Centre, just off Western Avenue (A3057).They have a range of fancy dress available from Harry Potter, fairy tales, Roald dahl and David Walliams.

As part of world book day all children will be given a book day token. All you need to do is to take it to your local bookseller. and swap it for one of the TEN (exclusive, new and completely FREE) World Book Day books. Alternatively you can put it towards one of the FIVE fantastic full-length books for teens priced at only £2.50 each at participating stores .
