Merlin pub assault investigation

Police in Andover are appealing for information after a man and a woman were injured in a public order incident on King Arthurs Way.

A report was received at 5.18pm on Monday (8th October 2018) that a fight had taken place between two groups of people in the car park of The Merlin.  Officers attended the scene.

Two people were taken to hospital – a 37-year-old woman, who sustained fractured ribs, and a 19-year-old man, who sustained bruised ribs.

No arrests have been made.

Enquiries are underway to establish the circumstances of this incident and identify those involved.

The four men Police would like to speak to about this incident have been described as white and aged between 18 and 25 years old.  One has been described as wearing a green tracksuit, and two others have been described as wearing dark-coloured tracksuits.
