Anton Rotary Club successful car show at The Weyhill Car Boot venue

Anton Rotary Club held a highly successful car show on Easter bank holiday Monday, in conjunction with the Weyhill Car Boot event that took place at the same time.

The event itself, using the new and expanded car boot field just past the Bell public house on the Ludgershall road, attracted over 150 classic and custom vehicles of all shapes and sizes thanks to a well publicised event within the car clubs here in the south of England and of course good weather.

The event organised by a member of Anton Rotary Club, Richard Vaughan, with the support of other members, brought out many different types of cars, land rovers and motorbikes of various vintage. Thanks must go to the owners of all the vehicles that turned up to participate in this event and especially Graham North, the owner of the field and organiser of the weekly car boot sales.  The club even had members of the public asking when the next car show would be!

The event raised several hundred pounds for the club which will be used to support some of Andover’s many local charities.

Anton Rotary Club would like to hear from anybody that may be considering joining. To get in touch just go to the club’s website: www.antonrotary.org.uk
