Lucy Maryon, the owner of Harley’s Hounds, has been awarded a Business Incentive Grant from Test Valley Borough Council to support her dog walking and boarding business.
Lucy, who had long aspired to start her own business, offers a range of services including drop-in house visits, dog walks, and overnight boarding.
Lucy said: “Starting my own dog care business has been a lifelong dream and passion for me. With this support, I can provide the best care for the dogs by upgrading the equipment and storage for the van crates.”
Councillor Zilliah Brooks if Andover Millway Ward said: “I am absolutely delighted to support Lucy in her new venture and wish her every success. Our business grants provide a fantastic opportunity to give new businesses the boost they need.”
Business Incentive Grants are for new businesses located in Test Valley and you must apply before you start your business. The council will pay the grant once you have been up and running for a minimum of six months.
