A stylist and body image consultant, Rosemarie Wilcock, has turned her newfound outlook on life into a successful Test Valley business.

After a demanding career in the Ministry of Defence, Rosemarie’s break to raise a family inspired her to follow a new path towards promoting self-confidence through personal styling.

She completed a course with the Styling Academy, and a course with Wiltshire College to become a Level 2 Exercise Instructor. She now offers her clients a choice of services from one-off wardrobe reviews to longer-term styling advice.

Local councillor Pam Mutton presented Rosemarie with Test Valley Borough Council’s £750 Business Incentive Grant at her home in Penton Bellinger.

Councillor Mutton said “I am delighted to present this cheque to Rosemarie. She is incredibly talented and has a fine eye for fashion. Rosemarie has worked very hard to get the business started and is thoroughly deserving of our Business Incentive Grant.

The Council’s Business Incentive Grants are available to anyone looking to set up their own business in Test Valley. Anyone who successfully applies for the grant will receive a grant of £750 if their business is still going strong six months later.
