Families across Andover were sad to lose the The Co-operative Food Andover, Charlton Road.
On Monday 30 November the staff at the YMCA and APCA, teamed with Cllr Tracy Tasker and Cllr Nick Matthews (who are Councillors for Roman Ward in Test Valley Borough Council ), helped to move the surplus stock to the YMCA and Augusta park community centres in Andover.
Richard Bundy who works at Coop said, “This food has kindly been donated from the closure of Charlton Road Store. For the residents of Andover. Its great that it goes into the Community.“
At the YMCA in Andover their community cupboard is now full. They now have enough stock to continue to support local family’s throughout the winter. You can contact them on 01264 310140
