Andover’s NBN Wellbeing Expo: A Success in Connecting Businesses and Health Organizations

The Natural Business Network (NBN) recently hosted their ‘NBN Wellbeing Expo’ at the Bridge Street Methodist Church Hall in Andover, and it was a great success. Attendees from various businesses and health organizations came together and had a fantastic time getting to know each other, sharing knowledge, skills, information, and more.

Since the Expo, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with everyone commenting on how useful they found the event. Businesses and health organizations felt energized, and attendees were thrilled to discover the many resources available in Andover to keep them happy and healthy. One such resource is the new ‘Health Hub’ from the Primary Care Network (PCN) located in the Chantry Centre, Andover.

One of the highlights of the Expo was the workshops, and attendees and exhibitors alike thoroughly enjoyed them. In particular, Laura Holland of ‘Parability Andover’ delivered an excellent workshop on ‘How to properly greet a deaf person’ using British Sign Language (BSL). The learners were captivated by her every word, and it was heartwarming to see their concentration and success in learning.

Parability’s Founder, Chris Hall, was also on hand to provide signposting and advocacy for those who needed information to help them. Susan Risdale from the Natural Business Network stated that they plan to host the NBN Wellbeing Expo again next spring, although perhaps a month later to avoid any potential snow or flooding.

Overall, the NBN Wellbeing Expo was a resounding success, bringing together people from different backgrounds and industries to learn from each other and discover new resources to support their wellbeing. It is events like these that can make a real difference in our communities and foster a sense of togetherness and support.
