What is the Prize? £20! Plus many runner up prizes.
What are the Rules? Open to 5 -15 year olds. Must be the original work of the entrant. A fictional piece of creative writing wanted about a character found in the Museum. The historical elements must be correct using information found in the Museum! You must have at least two visits recorded on the entry form. Come in to talk to volunteers who will help you and find ideas for characters. More than one entry per child accepted. Best most enjoyable stories/cartoon strips etc. to be published on our website and hopefully read out loud on Andover Radio! Judged by local creative writers as well as historians from our own Andover Historical Society. Closing date Monday 4th September. See entry form for more details. A Presentation of Prizes by the Town Mayor held in the Museum, date to be arranged.
