Prepare for Andover High Street to take on a Gallic feel again on Friday, 20 September from 9am – 5pm when the France at Home authentic French Market comes to town.
Experience the best of French cuisine and browse stalls to put together the ingredients for a continental breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Try a traditional French croissant or a crepe made fresh in front of you or some tasty French cheeses, pates and baguettes for your lunch. Or for a treat at any time of day browse the delicatessen stall for dried sausages, olives, garlic potatoes or salad sauces.
As well as a wide range of French foods there are a lots of other stalls to choose from offering a selection of goods including Provencal soaps, vintage music CD’s, handbags and purses, basket ware, scarves, hats and so much more.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Phil North, said: “I am delighted that the French at Home market will be enriching Andover High Street again this autumn. It is part of our vision for Andover to have a varied and busy programme of High Street events throughout the year, helping to draw people into the town and encouraging them to enjoy all that Andover has to offer.”
The traders from France at home cross the Channel every week from France to hold their popular French Markets in England, and are making a welcome return to Andover. Make sure that you put a date in your diary to visit them and say bonjour on Friday, 20 September.
