Ancient Peruvian Textiles with Janice Lawrence

Following a trip to Peru in the 1990s Janice is now an expert in the field of ancient textiles – in the production of the materials from spinning through weaving and dyeing, and she even explains how the embroidery was created using cactus needles. some pieces date back 12,000 years but have remained remarkably preserved because of the cold and very dry climate.
