‘Contagion’ Charcoal Drawing Installation

Scarborough based artist, Jade Montserrat will be resident in the gallery during the week, producing work inspired by her own concerns but also through a live link with the Truth-Dare-Art event happening simultaneously in the John Hansard Gallery, Southampton. Jade works at the intersection of art and activism, and is currently undertaking a PHD with an award from the Stuart Hall Foundation at the University of Central Lancashire. She has exhibited at the Arnolfini, Bristol, the Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool and was recently commissioned by The London Underground.
