AbiCare who provide live in care for people in Andover are launching their “Fill a stocking for a senior” event in Andover.
Christmas can be a lonely time for many vulnerable people, AbiCare say almost a million older people feeling lonelier at Christmas, many of whom have been widowed- which is why we want to make a real difference and help fill a stocking for a senior.
AbiCare based in Salisbury held the event last year in Salisbury with huge success, delivering over 150 presents, want to repeat the success here in Andover.
The team from AbiCare will be at Tesco on River Way this Monday the 9th December 2019 from 10am until 4pm and are urging people to donate a small gift for a senior to make their Christmas a little more special. The team will also be wrapping the gifts too.
So get on down to Tesco’s on River Way and donate something special for an older person for Christmas.
