Four Fun Fridays 2020
August 14 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pmFree
Although Four Fun Fridays may look a little different this year due to Covid-19, relaxed restrictions mean that some events will still take place on each of the four Fridays in August. Book now to secure your space!
Test Valley Borough Council, in conjunction with Andover Vision and supported by the Chantry Centre, are delighted to announce that a series of free family-friendly workshops, storytelling, art trails and photo challenges will be taking place at the Chantry Centre and at St Mary’s every Friday in August.
Workshops will take place at 11am, 12, 1, 2 and 3pm at the garden space and this weeks theme is Fairy tale fun, add to a fabulous fantasy collage and make unicorns, fairies, ogres and more.
Storytelling at St Mary’s church garden takes place at 11am and 2pm and this week come and listen to Hat-tastic Hettie and the Silly Squad. Everybody knows that Hettie’s hats are hat-tastic, and the Silly Squad from this year’s Summer Reading Challenge can’t resist trying some on. Join them as they get up to mischief in this interactive storytelling performance, and why not bring your own hats so that you can join in?
The Art Hunt for week two will be a town trail. Discover some of the things that Andover Town Centre has to see. There is a strong sense of heritage in this wonderful town – perfect as an inspiration for creative activity. Come join the fun!
We will also have a photo challenge for #FrameYourFriday
To ensure Covid-19 compliance and that the activities remain safe and fun, spaces are limited so they must be pre-booked via The Lights Box Office: 01264 368368 (telephone only Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am – 2pm)
