Four Fun Fridays 2020
28th August 2020 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pmFree
Although Four Fun Fridays may look a little different this year due to Covid-19, relaxed restrictions mean that some events will still take place on each of the four Fridays in August. Book now to secure your space!
Test Valley Borough Council, in conjunction with Andover Vision and supported by the Chantry Centre, are delighted to announce that a series of free family-friendly workshops, storytelling, art trails and photo challenges will be taking place at the Chantry Centre and at St Mary’s every Friday in August.
Workshops will take place at 11am, 12, 1, 2 and 3pm at the garden space and this weeks theme is, A day in the countryside. Add to a countryside mural and make badgers, squirrels, birds ad rabbits to take home.
Storytelling at St Mary’s church garden takes place at 11am and 2pm and this week come and listen to Pirate Jim’s Magic Map. Yo Ho Ho to all you young pirates! Come and watch the adventure unfold as Amanda combines pirate storytelling with paper folding to reveal a magic surprise at the end! Join in and dress up as a fearsome pirate, haah me hearties!
The Art Trail for week four will be a Living Life trail. All around us are wild and living things. Let’s use these as a starting point for some inspirational creativity.
We will also have a photo challenge for #FrameYourFriday
To ensure Covid-19 compliance and that the activities remain safe and fun, spaces are limited so they must be pre-booked via The Lights Box Office: 01264 368368 (telephone only Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am – 2pm)
Residents can keep up to date with what is planned for this year’s Four Fun Fridays on the Facebook page: www.facebook.com/fourfunfridays/
The project is funded by Section 106 developer contributions from the Andover Business Park and is brought to the town by Test Valley Borough Council in conjunction with Andover Vision.
