Lantern Making

Make your own lantern to carry in the Whitchurch Lantern Parade!
Free drop in workshop at the Gill Nethercott Centre between 10am – 4pm. You’ll be taught how to make your own paper and willow lantern ready for you to carry proudly through the streets of Whitchurch at this community event for the whole family to take part in.
The Lantern Parade will leave the Silk Mill at 5pm on the 3rd December and head to the square in time for the Christmas Lights switch on at 6pm.
This event has been organised in collaboration with Whitchurch Silk Mill, The Gill Nethercott Centre, Testbourne Community School and members of the Whitchurch Community.
