Today, (Friday 19 February 2021), Cholderton Charlie’s Farm ran a NEW interactive online farm event.
While they remain closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, they ran a “Rare Breeds Live – Lambing Special” It involved a virtual trip with some of the Farm Team, where we virtually met the rare breed ewes, who are due to give birth to their lambs in the next couple of weeks and we found out what happens before, during and after delivery.
The live covered
- Details of the lambing sheep, the meeting of the ewes and the ram
- Information on what lambing time typically looks like for the farming staff at Cholderton Charlies
- And details of important issues that might arise during the lambing season, including prior to delivery and follow up for the lambs and their mothers.
