The Great Christmas Escape 2018

Steve Burbidge hosts his annual charity guided trail riding event around Hampshire, Wiltshire and Salisbury Plain on Sunday the 30th of December.
Entry is £35 but FREE to anyone willing to lead a group of riders on a legal route of their own creation.
The event starts from Burbidge’s Bakery in Andover and will include a route of green roads heading west to Tilshead, where a bakery lunch graciously provided by the bakery will once again be available by kind permission of R.Hunt Ltd Agricultural Engineers. The ride will finish at the Bell Inn near Weyhill.
Beneficiaries of this year’s event will include Wiltshire TRF, an EVS ‘blood bike’ organisation and Andover Rotary Club.
Notes:
Entry is £35 but FREE to ride leaders.
Breakfast and lunch are included in the entry fee (and also free for ride leaders).
There is no need to book – simply turn up to register from 8am.
Space for vans, trailers and camping are available at the Bell Inn (SP11 0PN).
The event is suitable for trail, enduro and adventure bikes with suitable tyres.
Riders of sidecar outfits may also participate.
Disabled riders may use quads (no exceptions).
Steve endeavours to ensure riders of all abilities are catered for.
All vehicles and riders must be ‘road legal’ – taxed, tested, registered and ridden lawfully by an appropriately licenced and insured adult.
