The Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust is delighted to launch their new “Tie a Yellow Ribbon” campaign this September.
This special initiative offers a heartfelt way for the community to honour and remember those who are dearly missed, while supporting the essential care provided by the hospice.
Participants are invited to dedicate yellow ribbons in memory of their loved ones or to show their support for the hospice. These ribbons will beautifully adorn the hospice front garden throughout September, creating a touching and visual tribute.
In addition, the names of those honoured and supporting will be included in a Yellow Ribbon Remembrance Book, available for viewing in the hospice reception during the month.
Additionally, the hospice offers A4, A3, and A2 poster boards, which can be personalized with messages or logos. These can be displayed in windows, gardens, offices or on buildings, extending the tribute into the broader community.
Karen Clarkson, Marketing & Business Development Manager at Parker Bullen, said: “We are delighted to extend our ongoing support to our Charity of the Year, The Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust, and their remarkable initiatives. Participating in the 10@10 walk this June was an incredible experience, and we all had an amazing time. The Tie a Yellow Ribbon scheme is a wonderful way to raise awareness of the charity and generate vital funds, ensuring the Hospice can continue providing its essential services to those in need and we are so pleased to be able to support.”
The campaign welcomes all, regardless of any previous connection to the hospice. All funds raised from the “Tie a Yellow Ribbon” campaign will help the Countess of Brecknock Hospice continue to be there for patients and their families, now and into the future.
