David Clark received a significant boost to his fundraising efforts for Head Up Charity thanks to a generous £800 donation from Monopoly Insurance. Clark recently raised awareness for the charity at the Andover Armed Forces Day.
David Clark has embarked on mission to raise money for the veterans charity that will see him complete some gruelling challenges over the next months leading up to the Montane Winter Spine Challenge.
Head Up Charity is a new UK charity founded by veterans to support serving and former members of the Armed Forces. Their mission is to improve mental wellbeing and prevent suicide within the military community. The charity plans to achieve this by establishing a unique countryside retreat offering personalised mental health support in a calm and welcoming environment.
Clark’s fundraising goal is £3,200, which will directly contribute to the creation and operation of this vital retreat. He will be participating in the Montane Winter Spine Challenger South 2025 event scheduled for January 11th, 2025, to raise funds.
Clark expressed his gratitude to Monopoly Insurance for their contribution and to Martin Ardolino for his continued support, both with physiotherapy and fundraising. Ardolino’s assistance was instrumental in Clark’s success in reaching his £2,000 target last year.
Together, Clark and Ardolino are calling on the community to join them in supporting Head Up Charity and creating a brighter future for veterans. For more information on Head Up Charity, please visit their website at https://www.head-up.org.uk/.
