Andover’s community came together in full force on Saturday night to celebrate the 12th Annual Gala Ball organized by the Jamie G Sporting Trust.
The event, held at The Lights, was an extraordinary success, culminating in a record-breaking fundraising total of £20,000. The generosity of attendees, who contributed their time, services, products, bids, and donations, made this incredible achievement possible.
The Jamie G Trust, committed to making a positive difference in the community, focuses on increasing sports participation among under 18s in the SP10 and SP11 areas. With a remarkable 14-year journey behind them, the Trust has grown in strength and influence. Tommy Gentleman, a representative of the Jamie G Trust and Jamie’s older brother, expressed his gratitude, stating, “It’s always a very special event for us, but this year really was a step up. We managed to raise a record £20,000 on the night thanks to the generosity of those involved.
