Jordan Wylie MBE Welcomed as Host for 2023 Pride of Andover Awards

The 2023 Pride of Andover Awards ceremony, sponsored by New Street Dental Care and held at The Lights in Andover on Tuesday 24th October 2023, is excited to reveal that the host for this year’s event will be Jordan Wylie MBE.

Local celebrity Jordan Wylie MBE is a former soldier, an award winning adventurer, a bestselling author, and is also the national ambassador for the Army Cadets. In 2023 he was awarded an MBE by His Majesty King Charles III for services to charity and education both in the UK and overseas. Jordan is also known as a ‘Hunter’ in channel 4’s BAFTA nominated, and award-winning shows Hunted and Celebrity Hunted. Jordan holds multiple Guinness World Records and is known for his positive energy, inspiring messages and infectious spirit of adventure.

Jordan has raised over one million pounds for charitable and good causes and will also donate his speaking fee from The Pride of Andover Event to two local charities in Andover, Frontline Children and The Abel Foundation. Jordan’s motto is “be the difference that makes a difference”.

The Pride of Andover Awards celebrated their first event in 2007, this year and each year passed, we have endorsed the selfless actions and truly inspiring local individuals, promoting pride in our unique north Hampshire town, celebrating those who make a difference to other people’s lives within our community. The Pride of Andover prestigious Awards has previously been hosted by local celebrity Katie Piper, TV presenter Dame Esther Rantzen and BBC’s Sally Taylor MBE.
