Leading Hampshire-based disability charity, Enham Trust, has received a £4000 grant as part of the Masonic Charitable Foundation’s Community Awards 2017.
The gift comes after a public vote to secure anything up to £25,000 from the Foundation; supporting 300 charities with £3 million to mark 300 years of Freemasonry.
Hannah Leicester, Head of Income Generation at Enham Trust, said of the gift “We’re incredibly grateful to the Masonic Charitable Foundation, and of course to everyone who voted for us, for this substantial gift, which will help us in our mission to ensure as many disabled people as possible are support to gain independence.”
All funds raised by this event go towards Enham Trust’s ongoing work; supporting over 8,500 disabled people across the country each year in the cornerstone areas of their lives by providing housing, care, and various employment & skills opportunities to ensure each customer gains independence, choice, and control over every aspect of their lives.
