2022 marks the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Glider Pilot regiment formed in 1942.
Why not take part in the Army Flying Museum’s glorious Gliders community project, Glorious Gliders.
The Army Flying Museum in Hampshire is inviting crochet enthusiasts everywhere to help create a mini squadron of gliders for a mass art display project inspired by the museums gliders in February inspired by the glider pilot regiment. To mark the 80th anniversary they are hoping for 800 mini gliders.
