Family Days Out – Marwell 2019

Located near Winchester, Marwell Zoo is a member of Hampshire’s top attractions and is one of the best things to do in Hampshire. With a 140-acre wildlife park which is  home to hundreds of animals from endangered Amur tigers, snow leopards and white rhinos to giraffes, hippos and penguins – you’re in for a wild time!

Since my own families visit to Marwell. New things have been added.

There is a brand new tropical house.

Some fantastic animals can be found here with some great interactive learning points for adults and children. My youngest seemed to really enjoy studying the different poo samples that they have in one display !

And a walkthrough, ‘Lemur Loop’ which is home to three different species of lemur, where you are inside the landscaped habitat with the lemurs.

There is so much to see at the Zoo, that we spent 5 hours here today as a family exploring all the different areas of the Zoo.

Special event

BRICKOSAURS!

Is taking place at Marwell Zoo between 5th April – 1st September 2019. This spectacular interactive expedition is created with more than two million LEGO® bricks and is sure to excite families, LEGO and dinosaur enthusiasts alike.

Over the Easter weekend, from Friday 19 April until Monday 22 April between 11am and 3pm  stop by the T Rex outside Marwell Hall and pick up an egg from the team. Spike our Stegosaurus mascot will also be out and about.

Did you know what this animal really is?

My youngest told me today that Rhinos are Unicorns in disguse !!
