Katie and Shannon Tricker have once again transformed their house into a Winter Wonderland with an amazing light and festive characters display. They are located on the road to Weyhill about 50 yards before the Rosebourne turning. They would welcome people to come and enjoy their display and this year have asked for donations towards 2 great causes – Bright Futures Pre-school and Abbie’s Army which is a children’s brain tumour research charity. Local Andover resident, James Saviour brought his community together on Thursday 25th November by publically inviting them to a “switching on” ceremony at his home. James Saviour, of Sunny Side Close, Charlton has been working tirelessly over the last few weeks to get ready for the magical light switch on. The street was filled with locals and members of the Andover Rotary club as well as the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Mark Cooper who switched on the lights during the evening. James Saviour planned the event to raise funds for the Andover Rotary Club to be put towards the Aluminium Hold Foil Recycling project.
A local resident said, “ Every year it gets better and better, he works really hard and it’s so lovely to go past”
