HRH The Duchess of Gloucester visits leading disability charity Enham Trust

HRH The Duchess of Gloucester has this week visited leading Hampshire-based disability charity Enham Trust.

The visit, which took place at the charity’s main site in Enham Alamein, near Andover, gave The Duchess – Patron of the Trust since 1984 – the opportunity to learn more about the charity’s future plans and current developments, including the development of an innovative café and social space, run by the Trust’s disabled customers.

Heath Gunn, CEO of Enham Trust, commented of the visit “We were honoured and delighted to welcome HRH The Duchess of Gloucester back to Enham Trust and to have the opportunity to update her on developments and our exciting plans the future.”

The visit also gave HRH The Duchess of Gloucester the opportunity to meet some of the charity’s staff, customers & volunteers.

Enham Trust currently supports over 7,500 disabled people across the country each year to live the lives they choose by providing housing, care, skills development, and various employment opportunities to ensure each customer has an opportunity to gain greater independence, choice, and control over every aspect of their lives.
