Charlie Knight went missing on the 17th February 2021, from his home in Basingstoke with nothing but the clothes he was wearing. His family and friends have been desperately trying to find him, through social media support and on the ground searches with the police but no sighting yet. Charlies children, Harrison and Primrose have not seen their daddy for 11 weeks. With the help of their family the children have raised £3702 for the charity Mind “in the hope that it will stop other peoples daddies from going missing”
Charlie is just 30 years of age, went he went missing earlier this year on a cold Wednesday morning at 8.30 in the morning. Since then his family have been “desperately searching any possible sightings, no sleep and late night drives. Weeks of his brothers doing absolutely everything they can to make sure he comes home. Weeks of his family and friends worried and desperate for his return.”
His family said “Men’s mental health is something that seriously needs to be looked into” Charlie lost his own father, suddenly when Charlie was just 23, which has had a huge impact on Charlies mental health. Harrison and Primrose, Charlie’s children completed 100 miles or walking and cycling in 30 days throughout April to raise money and awareness for Mind, a mental health charity, who support people who are struggling.
Hayley Russell said “They children want to help other families who are suffering the heartache of a family member who is missing or struggling with depression. They want to let all daddy’s know that they are not alone in their mental health battle”
These amazing children have raised an amazing £3700, to help other people like their own daddy, Charlie Knight.
Charlie was last seen at 8.30 am on Wednesday 17th February, leaving Harts Lan in Burghclere.
He is described as being 5’8″ slim build, tanned skin with dark hair. He has a number of tattoos on his hands.
He was last seen wearing a green jacket, black trousers, green cap and black walking boots.
