Andover: Tier 4 from Boxing Day

At 3pm today (23rd December 2020), Health Secretary, Matt Hancock announced that Hampshire will be moved from Tier 2 to Tier 4, as of Boxing Day.

Tier 4 means a tightening on what we can do.

For many business owners it means increased turmoil and uncertainty. If you run a business, please make sure you keep an eye out on our social media (@LoveAndover) for information about grants and funding opportunities.

For current information on what you may be entitled to – click here and complete the UK Government’s online calculator.

For full information on what we can do please refer to the Gov.UK website here.

For many it will mean staying home and only going out when it’s necessary.

Essential shops can remain open, but non-essential shops – and these are plentiful in Andover – must close (unless they can offer delivery or click and collect option).
