#shopAndover Andover Offers Business News

Send a unique experience that’s not just a card with a new Andover business

If you are looking for a personal and unique way to wish family and friends a Happy Birthday, send out wedding invitations, say Happy Mother’s Day or simply brighten someone’s day, then this new local business can help.

The recipient receives a cool and unexpected envelope through their letterbox. They won’t know it yet, but there is a message waiting for them to discover.

Inside the envelope they will find a series of puzzles – a bit like an “Escape Room in an Envelope”. They will soon discover the answers to them unlocks the ‘True Code’ where their mystery message is revealed as a wonderful surprise!

Postal Coded is the brainchild of local businesswoman Katie Brooks, who used to run an Escape Room in Andover, and has loved solving and creating puzzles from an early age.

Katie said “I’ve always loved solving puzzles and anything with a mystery, and miss my Escape Room, so this seemed a way to combine both and give people a chance to surprise friends and relatives.

After all, why send them just a card when you can send them a fun experience they won’t forget!!” she added.

Amongst Postal Coded’s first recipients was Jordan Wylie, best known for being one of the elite team of Hunters on Channel 4’s BAFTA-nominated shows ‘Hunted’ and ‘Celebrity Hunted’. He completed the puzzles with his daughter and loved unlocking the secret message to him at the end.

He said “It’s brilliant, great fun, and a fantastic challenge for parents and children to do together. I love that it can be used for any occasion, the reasons to send one are endless.

I also loved the personalised message; it takes the product up another level.

I found the website to be very user friendly, and I liked that you could see a clue if you got stuck without giving the game away.

You won’t be disappointed, and I highly recommend this unique gift idea”.

You can order the first edition set of puzzles from the website at postalcoded.co.uk where you can create your own personal and unique message.
