The sad passing of a young woman in Andover sparked 80 local people to take part in a 12 hours of HIIT classes. All individuals were sponsored raising around £8000 to provide 4 new defibrillators for Andover.
Andy Lavery, owner of Dawn Breakers told Andover Radio 95.9fm “a poor girl died a couple of years ago at a gym down the road, and she almost certainly wouldn’t have done if the defib had been available” he went on to say “there was lots of red tape to get them up but we’re finally there”.
“Thousands more people are now able to get a defib in 7 minutes or less. This is a proven timeframe that saves lives every day” says Andy.
