Test Valley Borough Council would like feedback from local residents about plans to improve facilities at Andover’s popular Vigo Recreation Ground.
The proposals include the installation of a hard landscaped performance space, enhanced by new tree and shrub planting and linked to the existing path network.
A further path is planned, creating a direct line of access across the park to a new pedestrian entrance from the Vigo Roundabout. The general infrastructure of the park will be refreshed and updated, to include new fencing near Vigo roundabout, improved planting, seating, bins and interpretation signage.
Copies of the plans can be viewed here and comments can be made online, or by e-mail: Community&Leisure@testvalley.gov.uk or alternatively in writing addressed to:
Community and Leisure Services, Test Valley Borough Council, Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover SP10 3AJ.
All comments need to be with TVBC by Friday, 27 September 2013.
The work is planned to take place over the Autumn and Winter, for completion in March 2014.
