With staycations popular this year, residents and visitors alike can enjoy a sunny Sunday stroll in Andover High Street and enjoy all that the Artisan Market has to offer.
Taking place on Sunday, 15 August from 10am – 2pm there are a wealth of local traders plus live music in the Time Ring in the morning from Maddison Douch.
Stalls include Sherbet Piglet and Pear Tree Preserves for edible human goodies, and Bolts Deli for canine counterparts; Rutts Lane Cider for refreshments, and gifts and craft from Arts Rush and Cane Studio, Bumble Bears, Mad Bag Lady and lots more.
Leader of the council, Councillor Phil North said: “Artisan Market day in Andover is a great chance to support local artisans and traders whilst soaking up the relaxed Sunday atmosphere, and perhaps stay to enjoy a coffee, ice-cream, or even lunch at one of the many eateries in the town.”
The Artisan Market is part of a busy calendar of events taking place in the town centre in August, including Four Fun Fridays – free family fun every Friday in August, free sports activities with Get Active in the Chantry Centre for children and the InAndover BePuzzled free family puzzle trail
There are so many reasons to visit Andover this summer holidays, and don’t forget the pop-up indoor craft market at unit 16-18 in the Chantry Centre on the last Saturday of the month too!
