It raises the question, “what are they up to?” but Andover Radio has uncovered that two major opponents of the plans for Andover to become a ‘Business Improvement District’ have set-up a company called Andover B.I.D Limited.
Councillor Tony Hooke and businessman Kevin Farrer are named as the two directors of the company which was formed yesterday. The uncovered information comes at the same time Cllr Hooke was involved in a ‘High Street Fracas’ with leader of Test Valley Borough Council Cllr Ian Carr.
Following the very public argy-bargy, Cllr Carr denied swearing or punching Cllr Hooke but did admit calling him “the biggest ****hole” in Andover.
Co-director in the newly formed entity Kevin Farrer, owner of International Furniture, was also in the High Street at the time of the quarrel.
What these two directors are planning to with the company remains a mystery.
