The 2.6 Challenge set to raise vital funds for Hospices – Become a Hospice Hero in your own home!
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a large impact on the Hospice fundraising activity with many of their key events postponed or cancelled until next year.
Whilst they are hopeful many of these events will go ahead at a later date, many hospices, including the Countess of Brecknock, across the UK have been left with a considerable shortfall in funding.
Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, Salisbury Hospice has continued to provide expert care to those who badly need it, but we rely on the ability to fundraise to maintain these vital services. This is why they need your help now more than ever.
On Sunday 26 April, join them alongside the rest of the UK for The 2.6 Challenge. This can be any activity you like – from running 2.6 miles or holding an online workout with 26 of your friends, to 26 minutes of yoga, or gardening for 26 minutes.
Whatever your age or ability, you can take part. They’re looking for Hospice Heroes! Let your imagination run wild, create your challenge based around the numbers 26 or 2.6 and complete it on Sunday April 26. Your support is our future, we can’t wait to see your creative challenges!
