A new website for Andover Armed Forces Day has been launched which gives an idea of the events and activities planned for the day.
Organisers have been tight-lipped about what the day may involve, but a glance at their stunning new website seems to show there’s been a lot of work in the background since its announcement last month.
Interactive bridge building, dive tanks, falconry display, bushcraft and other activities for the family seem to be on the agenda as well as ‘Section attacks’, where armed personnel fire blanks at each other in a visual display.
The event also seems to have a wide range of food and drink as well as a fully licensed bar.
Andover Armed Forces Day is at Vigo Park from 10am on Sunday 25th June.
