An Andover fitness instructor has challenged his friends to help local families.
Popular local kickboxing coach Andy Lavery posted on social media to ask for nine of his friends (if not more) to donate money to help others.
Mt Lavery is asking those “who have some spare money” to put £200 each into a pot, which will be shared with those less fortunate.
At a time when many families are struggling to feed their children with reduced wages or even redundancy.
His kind gesture will provide some light to those who can see none and is just another part of the Andover community coming together in these hard times and supporting each other.
Andy states that if there is any money left after the half-term period then what remains will be going directly to Andover Foodbank.
Mr Lavery has already raised over £2,000 for this effort and is seeking to raise much more.
If you are willing to donate to his worthy cause at the time when many families are struggling please get in contact with him here.
