Police Appeal after Red Rice Road Rage

Police are investigating a report of a public order incident in which an 83-year-old man was verbally abused by another motorist.

On Friday 26th January at around 10.45am in Red Rice Road, Andover, there was an altercation between a man driving a 4×4-type vehicle, possibly a Range Rover, and the 83-year-old man, who was driving a blue Ford Focus car.

The man verbally abused the 83-year-old man and blocked his car, before driving off.

The man is described as:

• white
• aged in his mid to late 30s
• of slim build
• light coloured receding hair

Sergeant Gary Lyons said “This was a very frightening experience for the victim and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.

The incident itself held up other traffic in Red Rice Road, so if you were affected by what happened, please get in touch.”
