There have been further upgrades to broadband services in Andover, with most of the town now being able to get superfast speeds of 24Mbps (megabits per second) or more.
Hampshire County Council is working to rollout superfast broadband, and is on track to reach 97.4% of the region by the end of 2019 – exceeding government targets.
The latest areas in Andover to benefit include properties connected to a cabinet that serves either all, or parts of these roads:
- Queens Avenue
- Osbourne Road
- Balmoral Road
- Windsor Road
- Victoria Court
- Bridge Street
- Junction Road
Whether your street is listed or not, you can check if you can get superfast broadband simply by entering your postcode at www.hants.gov.uk/broadband
The benefits of superfast broadband

So check whether you can get it, and if you can, get in touch with your internet service provider and ask about upgrading your broadband package, or look around for the best deal for you.
