The Geek Emporium, having opened up last October, will be celebrating its one year anniversary with a birthday party celebration.
Held on Friday 29th October 2021, from 10am until 5pm, you will be able to walk through Waterloo Court to see a birthday party celebration going on as the shop reflects on a hectic year of trading to the public. The unit itself will have a spooktacular Halloween-themed display, with Halloween-specific products being on sale, only to be bought during this time. Andover Radios , Chris Burford, with be there with some of the Love Andover Events team helping celebrate with a range of spooky and “geek themed ” tunes.
This comes after the owner takes a vacation, after a non-stop year of selling. Stuart Gatward, the owner of the Geek Emporium, said, “It’s been nonstop since we started last year, so we’re taking a holiday. Everyone needs a break and after this year, we certainly do. It will only be a short one, and we’ll be back on the 26th getting ready for our
Anniversary/Halloween event on 29th October.”
Children passing through the birthday experience will also have the chance to take part in the Birthday Bash – with the aim being to complete a famous quote from a movie, in order to collect a treat from the shop on the day.
